1) Are your pearls genuine? How do I know it is genuine?
The pearl accessories sold at Pearl Variations are genuine and imported from various countries around the world like Korea and China.

There are many ways to find out if the pearls are real:

Take 2 pearls and rub them against each other. Real pearls feel rough and a bit "sandy". Fake pearls are very smooth and hardly have any texture.

Bring your pearl under the sun or a bright light, you will be able to see differences in color and they won't all be perfectly matched if they're real. Whereas fake ones usually look perfect and all the same.

Real pearls also feel cooler for a while before turning warm

Or you may just visit Google and search for "how to tell real from fake pearls" to learn more.

2) How should I store/keep my pearls?
There are many ways, and one way which my mum taught me is to keep it in a small box of rice (uncooked). It will make the pearl more shiny and also keep moisture away.

Make sure that water does not get to it.

Keep your pearls separate from other jewellery. We will package your pearl accessory in a silk bag which you may keep them in.

3) What do I get when I buy from Pearl Variations?

You'll get one of the above: A pink pouch for your bracelet, velvet textured pouch for your earrings or a box if you buy a pendant from us. :)

1) All items sold are non-refundable and non-exchangeable UNLESS product is found to be faux pearls (subject to procedures).

2) We accept payement made via internet/ATM bank transfer (POSB Savings account) or Paypal (5% transaction fee will be added).

3) The buyer who makes payment first after receiving an invoice from us will get the item first.

4) Payment should be made within 24 hours after we've sent you the invoice. Your invoice will be void after 24 hours.

5) In the event that your transfer is made but there are no more stocks available, full refund will be made.

6) Buyers should accept slight colour difference due to different monitor's resolution.

7) We recommend everyone to use Registered mail and are not liable for loss of items through normal mail.

8) Registered mail costs S$3.80 and normal postage costs S$1.50.

9) All our prices are stated in Singapore Dollars.

10) All items will be sent through SingPost - the local mail provider.

11) All information provided will be deemed personal and kept confidential.
